Description

This Fire-type is extremely loyal and will never leave its trainer's side. Growlithe's fur is orange with black stripes, not unlike a tiger. It's mouth region, belly, and tail have cream-colored fur. The cream fur is very thick. Once Growlithe smells something, it will never forget the scent.

• Growlithe is one of the three Pokémon to require a Fire Stone to evolve, the others being Eevee and Vulpix
• Growlithe and Arcanine, in an earlier version, were able to learn Nasty Plot. This was a mistake, but Sam has corrected it. Nasty Plot Growlithe and Arcanine are very rare, but are still available
